She has over 15 years experience of the animal industry, from managing a chain of pet stores in Seattle, to running a zoo exhibit on Australian Lorikeets. She has represented manufacturers of companion animal products and worked at small and large animal vet clinics. She currently keeps the Pygora flock, 2 horses, 3 dogs, 5 cats, 4 parrots, and a few guinea pigs. There's a saying "behind every successful rancher is a spouse who works in town." Russ Mann enjoys competing in cattle and sheepherding events with one of our dogs, Cross. He is learning how to rope with Jackson the horse and Cali the plastic cow. When not doing these or helping birth kids or fixing PVC irrigation, he works as a business executive at a software firm.
